LaptopKing.com is our dedicated website offering the sale laptop parts, both new and used. We sell laptop parts for the newest laptops (some still for sale in local stores) to laptops exceeding 5 years old. Most brands are represented with parts that include keyboards, hinges, fans, batteries, dvds, cables, ac adapters, dc jacks and more. We offer secure online ordering of parts with same day shipping on most items. We stock over 25,000 parts for nationwide sale. Brands we support include Toshiba, Dell, Compaq, HP, Acer, Gateway, Asus, Sony, Samsung, and Lenovo. Our LaptopKing.com website has been in operation since 1999 and our company, Excel Computer, located in California, has been in business since 1989.


All orders are placed through our website where we accept Visa, MasterCard or Paypal as payment. As mentioned in our shopping cart, the billing address must match the information on file for the credit card being used to protect us and the cardholder against fraud. If paying by Paypal your PayPal account must have a verified status. The Paypal account must also have a PayPal confirmed shipping address. If your shipping address is not confirmed with PayPal your order will not process and you will receive a notice when attempting to complete your order.

Shipping Information

We use the US Postal Service, UPS or Fedex depending on the product(s) purchased. Most but not all items will ship the same day if ordered before Noon PST. We ship exclusively within the United Sates and do not support international sales at this time.

We use a flat rate shipping system for shipping costs. The order will fall into one of two categories depending on size and weight. The shipping price listed on the part's detail page will be the cost of shipping. Adding more items to the order will not increase the cost of shipping. Most items ship from California; however, we have arrangements for some items to ship from the east coast to cut down on shipping time to the eastern states.


We are located in California and by California law we are required to collect sales tax to any order shipping within California. Orders placed outside of California will not have sales tax collected. If you are a reseller in the state of California you can email us a copy of your reseller certificate and we will remove the collected tax post sale.


Each part we sell carries a warranty against defects. We will gladly exchange any defective part received within the warranty period with a new direct replacement part. If you feel you received a part that is defective, please contact us immediately by filling out our RMA Request link on our website. We will issue a RMA number for you to put on the outside of the box when you send the item back for exchange. The warranty period starts on the date of the invoice and must be received for exchange within the specified warranty period. An approved RMA is required for exchange for the same part only and there are no refunds after 30 days. Keyboards, hard drives, drive caddies, cooling fans, lcd cables, lcd hinges, plastic covers, drive adapters and speakers carry a one year (365-day) warranty. Batteries, palmrests, bottom case, rear lids, lcd bezels, dvd drives and ac adapters carry a 90-day warranty. Display inverters, lcd and digitizer touchscreen panels, keyboard skins, dc power jacks, motherboards, power boards, wifi cards, USB boards, bluetooth modules, ALL circuit boards carry a 30-day warranty. Thermal paste, power cords and any other part not specifically listed above carry no warranty. The warranty does not cover water damage or any use outside of normal activity or damage due to another faulty part. The customer is responsible for matching our part's description, any part number or any other listed numbers associated with a particular part to determine if it is the correct part. Each part listed has a picture that represents the part that is being ordered. All numbers must match as parts are rarely interchangeable between different laptop brands or models. If you have any doubt you are ordering the correct part, please email us through our website prior to placing your online order and we will do our best to assist you in finding the correct part for your laptop. This will require removal of the part in question so we may accurately match all part numbers as this is important for a correct part match. All refused shipments upon delivery will be subject to a 20% restocking fee and any other charges occurring from a refused shipment. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Same day shipping will apply on most but not all items.


You can return a product within 30 days of the purchase (invoice) date. Any returned product must be in the same new condition as sold and show no signs of installation. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee and shipping is not refunded. The item being returned must be received by Laptopking.com no later than 30 days from the invoice date. Once received, we will determine the part is ours and is in the condition previously described. Before returning a product be sure to fill out a RMA Request explaining the reason for your return. Please allow 10 business days to process your refund. Your bank may require additional time to process the refund. We can only issue a credit to the original credit card used in making the purchase.

Defective Product Exchanges

All order shortages or broken products must be reported to us within 48 hours of receiving the product. We issue Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA) for products which do not work as designed or arrive to you broken. Once you fill out a RMA Request we will provide you instructions on exchanging the faulty item within its warranty period for a direct replacement. If a replacement is not available we may issue a refund. We do not cross ship any items being returned for replacement.

Cancellation Policy

We process orders shortly after they arrive. If you need to cancel an order please email us as soon as possible requesting cancellation. If the order has been processed and shipped we can no longer cancel the order.

Part Conditions

New parts refer to parts purchased directly from the manufacture or distributor and never used.
New Pull refer to items removed from new laptops. These are expected to be in almost new condition.
Pull items refers to used merchandise. We acquire these items by buying machines from our customers and from auctions in wholesale lots. The condition of used items have no guarantee. Some may have scratches, worn pieces, or just normal use; some in perfect "like new" condition. All are guaranteed to work and have been cleaned and tested prior to packaging.
