* Most cooling fans include the heatsink. These assemblies are sold as shown and not separately.
* Verify the part number(s), description and our actual picture of the product.
* Make sure the ratings on the fan and the number of wires match your faulty fan are the same.
* Some fans will have the same basic look and specifications; however very few can be crossed between different laptop brands even though all the numbers match.
* You can test for a faulty fan by applying either 5v or 6v to the positive and negative wires of the fan.
